Today we will be explaining How to present your credential to the card reader and what you need to know.
In this video we will walk through.
1. What your fob looks like.
2. How to identify the card reader.
3. How to present your fob to the reader to gain access to the building.
To use your fob you will need to bring it near the card reader. The maximum read range for these readers is approximately 1 inch.
Once you have presented your fob to the reader you should hear a “Beep” and the LED should change from Red to Green.
If the LED does not change to Green then you may have an issue with your fob or you may not have permission to access this door. It is important to contact the system administrator when this occurs. It will help to notate the time and day of when the failure occurred.
